I can make you cry
I can hurt you
I can make you smile
I can make you proud
I can make you angry
I can make you upset
I can educate
I can make you worried and keep you up nights
I can make you laugh
I can make you spiritual
I can break you
I can waste your time
I can sell you things
I can make you wealthy
I can make you poor
I can inspire you
I can help solve all your problems
I can create problems
I can be a friend.
I can keep you entertained
I wipe away your tears
I can be your enemy
I have been a part of your life from the start
I will be there to the end
I have been there when your graduated
When you failed and felt defeated
Been there for the best of time
I been with you for long hours
You’ll want to keep me forever
You can throw me out
I can travel with your approval
I can be sent to you morning, day and night
You can crumble me, toss me, walk all over me, stab me and
Create beautiful things out of me.
I can be small, big, large and enormous
Can you guess who I am?
If you guess paper, that’s what I am.

“I dream my painting, and then I paint my dream.” Vincent Van Gogh. Do You Have a Dream Journal? It's worth starting If you Dream A lot.
I have been painting and drawing for years. I sometimes would wake up in the middle of the night with a beautiful picture shown to me. I get out of bed and quickly sketch out what I saw in my dream. It's amazing what images I am shown while I am sleeping. If you do not have a pad of paper or notebook by your bed, it is necessary. I love to draw images, write out dreams I had and who visited me in my dreams. In the morning, I read over my notes and drawings. Looking for clues of why I was shown this dream. I also have a dream interpretation book available to look up when I am not sure why I was show this. When I have terrible nightmares... I go for the Holy Bible. I open it randomly. It's amazing what scripture can tell me about the nightmare I just been shown. After reading God's word the nightmare doesn't seem so frightening. If you have lots of dreams... it may be time to look at them deeper. I also got a lot of my inspiration on books I written. If I am struggling with a book, I sometimes awake with the solution through a dream I had. If you haven't taken the time to really listen to your dreams...just maybe they are telling you something you need to do or not do. Sweet dreams dear friends.
Rose is a rose is a rose. Gertrude Stein- Sacred Emily Have you Taken a Quiet Time Just For You? Maybe It's time
A single rose always reminds me of taking time for quiet time. How stressful and overwhelming we can get with technology going faster and faster. Everything seems to be on steroids. When we were children, if we were overly active we were given a time out or quiet time. Remember those days? Back when... it was the worst punishment ever. When we got older, quiet time seems the best medicine. We need to take time to get away and have that quiet time to center ourselves. You are probable saying, "I don't have the time... I need to do this or that!" You must make the time, if it's only for 10 minutes. Breath. If you cannot meditate how about finding other ways to calm your mind. That could be doodling on a piece of paper, putting on your favorite music, dancing, taking a leisure walk, etc... Getting out into nature. Just take a few moments with silence. Turn off your cell phone, phones, social media, texts, etc...Breathe. Make appointment with yourself for quiet time. My all time favorite quiet time is going to a bookstore or library. I don't know why... but being around books always put me at peace and calm. After your quiet time ask yourself, "Do I feel more relax after my quiet time? Or do I feel more wired? If you feel wired? After a few times... experiencing quiet time your mind with slow down and you can finally enjoy your quiet time with yourself. Give it a try today.
