I always saw dialogue as a dance going back and forth. It can be poetic and the rhyme and action can all happen when two people are talking together.Practice writing dialogues.Take out the story or novel you are working on and add some dialogues.Experts do express it’s a craft but with practice you would be right up there with the pros. Don’t let others intimidate you. Just write and it will come to you.
