Many of us are feeling confused, anxious, stressed and worried dealing with this present crisis. Have you looked at the other side of the coin and ask yourself, “what good can come out of this?” Don’t get me wrong the whole thing has been frightening and very stressful for all of us, our family/friends and our community and even our own nerves. When disaster strikes, there is always hope, if we keep calm and see the good. Here are some positive good to come from this experience.
Many of us are thinking where is God when we are struggling, and everything looks pitch dark? Let me assure you I can empathize. When things look pitch black, be aware that God is present even in our darkness moments. The fact is that God is most active when the darkness seems the deepest. The author of Psalm 139:7-10 expressed, “How can I get away from your Spirit Dear Lord?” he asked. “If I make my bed in hell behold, you God are there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.”
If there are moments when you feel that you are living in hell, do not forget that even there… God is with you---holding you and leading you sweetheart. Don’t forget John 14:27 God said,” I leave my peace with you. I give my peace to you. I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid I am always with you.” I took this picture I thought it shows how God is with us through every storm of life. Peace, hope and love dear friends. |
