Have you ever labeled someone or called them nasty names? Now imagine you became all the names you insulted them with? Yelled out… you are a pig...instantly you grew a snout. What about a rat... you grew big rat ears. A frog…. you turned green, a long frog tongue and you were jumping everywhere. That is just what happens to my character Sally in Fate Takes Over. Let the fun begin. Here is a sample of what's included in this fun book. I took this photograph on my walk today. As I was walking, I had this thought. It's when we get in touch with nature it's a wonderful therapy session worth millions. It doesn't cost anything to just take a walk. A big question? Have you taken a walk-in nature lately? If not, why not today?
Before walking, take the time to notice anything mentally draining you right this moment? Physically, Mentally or Emotionally? Start walking. As you walk take the time to really view your surroundings. Use all your senses. Listen to the birds singing. Smell the trees blooming and flowers. Look at all the lovely colors even the beautiful blue sky. Feel the earth under your feet. What taste comes to mind while you are walking? I taste thyme, rosemary and oregano as I walk. You may taste other flavors. Get in touch with your emotions. If stress? I solve a lot of problems on my walk as my mind settles down. While I walk, negative thoughts may come in. I notice them, but I don't let them take over my walk. I just say, "I will deal with this thought later." Take the time to really listen to your body and feel all the negativity draining as your walk. Even if you may have some pain… address it but be easy on yourself as you walk. If you must stop walking please do. After the pain subside, take the walk slower. Just breathe and enjoy. It’s not a marathon. It is just a leisure walk. I always hate it when it's time to stop my walk and go back to work or home. As you are going back to civilization ask yourself. Does my body feel more relax after my walk? Does everything appear to be seen clearer after my walk? Have I gained peaceful insight and solutions after my walk? If you said yes! Mark on your calendar and make an appointment with yourself for your next walking session. It is worth it. Do not take it from me but learn it yourself. Doohickeys & Doodads Organizing Games.
