Be detailed on what you actually did throughout the day. This would be your non-fiction story. Now turn to another page and write about your day again but this time be more creative by using your imagination. Add fictional characters or events that didn't happen so to make the fictional day be more exciting and fun. After you finish both non-fiction and fiction day compare them both. This exercise can sure be entertaining and fun to turn a slow boring day into one big exciting adventure. Try it today. Until next week for the next journal writing exercise.
