Have you had a nightmare or a panic attack lately? Can you recall the nightmare or panic attack? Visualized the American Indian Dream catcher collecting that dream. Now, write down what you saw and experience? If it is too stressful of a dream... do not tax yourself and just skip this journal lesson. If you can…just relate what you saw or experienced. Writing down the nightmare or dream is a solution to help solve a problem you are facing or it's your subconscious letting it go of a stressful experience. Sleep Researchers said, when dreaming a nightmare, don’t open your eyes until something good comes out of the terrible dream. If you awake try to relax and rethink or make the nightmare or panic into something better. It will lessen the reaction that nightmare cause. You are the director of your own mind. Re direct for the good and turn that nightmare or panic attack into a restful and safe dream instead. When writing about your nightmare or panic attack end with a happy conclusion. I have a journal always by my bed side, to write down my dreams. I write in it when I awake or at times when a dream wakes me up. Dreams are your subconscious helping you deal with everyday life or maybe helping you deal with something unpleasant you may have saw (horror movie, news, etc...). I hope you like this journal writing exercise. Until next week.
