Journal Writing Exercise: Writing Synopsis

Go back into your journal writings and find one story you wrote. Turn to a blank page in your journal and write 200 or less words  synopsis to describe the book you wrote. Without giving the ending. You may want to read others writers synopsis to give you a feel of what’s included or not included. A great learning took is to express your writing in just a few words. Also synopsis has to be catchy so the readers would want to read your story to the end to find out what happens. Synopsis writing is a craft that any writer has to master to help sell their books. Give it a try you may have the gift of synopsis writing. There are tons of book on this topic to research.
